Programs • Re-entry • Seniors • Veterans

Support that starts with a steady home.

Our programs at KAL Home are built around one simple idea: people move forward more easily when their living space feels safe, calm, and predictable. We focus on Re-entry and Senior residents, with room for Veterans who need stable housing and gentle structure.

Stable housing • simple routines • connection to community resources.

How our program works

We keep the process straightforward, respectful, and focused on what you need to feel safe and stable.

Step 1

Intake & fit

We listen to your story, your needs, and your goals. We look at timing, eligibility, and whether KAL Home is the right environment for you.

  • Referral or self-contact
  • Basic screening questions
  • Discuss expectations & house culture
Step 2

Move-in & orientation

You move into a furnished room and we walk through house guidelines, shared spaces, quiet hours, and what support looks like day to day.

  • Private, furnished bedroom
  • Tour of kitchen, living room, and shared spaces
  • Clear, written house expectations
Step 3

Ongoing support

We coordinate with families, case managers, and community partners to help you stay stable and move toward your next steps.

  • Check-ins as needed
  • Resource and referral support
  • Focus on routine, safety, and respect

Program tracks inside KAL Home

Each resident is unique, but our support is organized around three core tracks: Re-entry, Seniors, and Veterans.

Re-entry

For individuals coming home after incarceration who need a calm, structured place to land.

  • Stable housing while you re-establish daily life
  • Support with routines, appointments, and next steps
  • Coordination with supervision, case managers, or programs

Seniors

For older adults who want a smaller, quieter house instead of a large facility.

  • Furnished bedroom in a calm, respectful environment
  • Shared spaces that feel like a real home
  • Connection to community and healthcare resources

Veterans

For Veterans who need stability, routine, and a place that honors their service.

  • Quiet, respectful house culture
  • Help navigating local Veteran resources
  • Room to rest, reset, and plan next steps

What’s included during your stay

We keep things simple and clear so you know what to expect day to day inside the house.
